Negative Feedback Control Technology

Negative feedback (NF) control technology assures stability and high performance in electronic circuits and is widely utilized in circuits and control systems. NF products deliver optimal control technology with maximize performance and stability. This core technology is integral in all of NF's application areas from small signal amplification to broadband power amplification.

Precision Analog Signal Processing Technology

Accurate capturing and optimal processing of analog signals are critical; by minimizing noise, ambient impact, and other factors that impair measurement, NF has been a proven technology leader in precision signal processing, including amplification, filtering, and other circuit technologies. NF's precision analog signal processing technology is used in a variety of products for a wide array of applications. Whether its conditioning small, nanovolt-level signals or massive signals of thousands of volts NF Corporation has the technology solution for your application.

High-Performance Power Control Technology

Power amplifiers and other power components used in R&D must have optimum control suited to the load characteristics. NF power control solutions provide the same level of accuracy and precision as its measurement instruments. NF Corporations' power control solutions make use of analog and digital control technology, and regenerative technology and cover a broad range of frequencies, from direct current to high-frequency power.

System Control Technology

Cutting-edge R&D often requires custom-built measurement instruments and systems with specifications not available with general-purpose devices. NF's system control technologies help promote the design of such devices and systems by meeting customers' specialized needs and objectives. NF Corporation integrates a broad range of their proprietary technologies by utilizing unrivaled capabilities in customization to help its customers achieve tomorrow's applied science.

NF DP Power Supplies

NF DP Series

NF DP Series of power supplies are highly configurable, easily expanded to meet growing needs. NF Corporations's DP series includes Multi-phase units that allow quick and easily switching between single-phase and poly-phase power output.

You can select the optimal power supply from a broad range of options, from single-phase 1.5 kVA to a maximum of three-phase 36 kVA:

  • Single-phase, single-phase 3-wire, three-phase and multi-phase ( single-phase, single-phase 3-wire, or three-phase selectable) models.
  • A multi-phase system (single-phase 3-wire/three-phase) can be configured by connecting multiple units of the same single-phase model.

ZGA5920 Impedance/Gain-Phase Analyzer

A/D converted input signals undergo discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to calculate complex impedance values and obtain parameters and characteristics specific to the DUT, such as its capacitance, inductance and quality factor. Original NF algorithms are also applied to allow equivalent circuits made up of R, L and C along with the constants for those circuits to be estimated from the complex impedance spectrum obtained by sweeping the frequencies. In servo analysis, data such as the loop cycle gain and closed-loop gain are used to obtain transfer functions (circuit model) and run simulations of the loop cycle gain and closed-loop gain.
